Midtown West, a kindergarten through fifth grade school, reflects the mosaic that is New York City in an atmosphere that respects this diversity. Teacher-designed curriculum provides enrichment for all in art, creative writing, hands-on science and instrumental music around a social studies core. We consider all our children gifted. Bank Street College provides on-going professional development to staff, student teachers and interns, under the enlightened guidance and support of District 2 in Manhattan. All major decisions are explored by the faculty and the School Leadership Team (comprised of parents, staff and administration) to provide the best advice to the Midtown West administration.
